Himachal CPI(M) authorise party’s Centre Committee and Polit Bureau to take decision of fighting LS elections

The CPI(M) state Committee decided to authorised Centre Committee and Party Polit Bureau to take decision about fighting Lok Sabha Election on the four seats of Himachal Pradesh.

During to day party state committee meeting a resolution was passed to authorised party central committee of CPI(M) and PPB to take the decision about putting own candidate in the fray or to fight with the INDIA in the forthcoming elections.

Talking to us CPI(M) state secretary Dr Onkar Shad said that party has earlier decide to fight at least Mandi Parliamentary seats but now the state unit empowered the CC and PPB to take the final call on the matter.

He said that state committee passed a resolution authorising the both the apex bodies to take decision to go through the INDI Alaince or go solo in the poll.

Party state committee meeting held on February 21 and 22 attended by state Committee members Dr Onkar Shad, Former MLA Rakesh Singha, Dr Kuldeep Singh Tanwar and Kushal Bhardwaj and others. 

During the meeting a special campaign would be launched by the state Committee in the state to create awareness among the masses “why it is necessary to defeat the BJP in LS election”. Dr Shad said that party would bring out special pomplets to educate masses about failure of NDA goverment during past ten years and its contemplated move to dismental and weakening the constitutional institutions in the country.

Mr Shad said that party would launch members ship drive on district, Subdivision and Vidhansabha level soon and enrolled new member. Party State Committee also decided to strengthen the mass movement like Junior Office Assistant (IT) post code 817, retrenched the outsource employees of IGMC , SMC teachers and protesters seeking employment policy on the compassionate ground. 

Dr Shad said that under the party are standing with Farmers movement to bring legisltion for Minimum Support Price to all the crops and on the district level party workers and fronts are organising Dharna to condemned the police action against the protesting farmers on Punjab and Haryana borders and death of a young farmers in the police actions.

The party workers and Kissan Sabha activists also staged Dharna outside Deputy commissioner office Shimla under the leadership of former MLA Rakesh Singha and Kissan Sabha President Dr Kuldeep Singh Tanwar and CITU state secretary Bajinder Mehra in which large numbers of party workers joined protest. A effigy of Hime Minister Amit Shah was put to fire against the police and paramilitary force action on the peaceful farmers.

The party workers were wearing black badges on the forehead and banner and posters were displaced showing the soliderty with the farmers who are facing atrocities by the forces under the direction of Union government and BJP alliance Haryana goverment.

Party have strong movement in Shimla, Kasumpti, Theog and Mandi district.
