Himachal Congress Invites Youth Applications for Key Media & Research Roles

Under the National Talent Hunt program launched by the All India Congress Committee, applications have been invited from qualified, experienced and politically aware youth from across the state for the selection of party spokesperson, media panelist, research coordinator and publicity coordinator in the Himachal Pradesh Congress Committee.
Today, in a press conference held at the State Congress Headquarters Rajiv Bhawan, Shimla, State Congress President Vinay Kumar formally launched the National Talent Hunt.
On this occasion, Chitra Batham, the national coordinator of the program and in-charge of Himachal Pradesh, said that the BJP government at the center is suppressing democracy by misusing power and violating the fundamental principles of the Constitution. At this time, the Congress Party has decided to launch a comprehensive national campaign, under which it will appoint trained spokespersons to raise awareness through the media in every village and city.
Chitra Batham said that Leader of the Opposition Rahul Gandhi has exposed the BJP’s true character to the nation, from the Bharat Jodo Yatra to the Bharat Nyay Yatra and the Vote Chor Gaddi Chhod campaign. She said that Congress will not tolerate injustice against the citizens of the country under any circumstances and will ensure direct public participation in this fight for justice.
State coordinator of the program, State Planning Commission Chairman and MLA Bhawani Singh Pathania stated that the Congress party will select educated, experienced, and serious candidates in the state through a detailed interview process. Selected representatives will be tasked with providing accurate and authoritative responses to the government’s policies and achievements, and any misleading propaganda spread by the BJP.
Outlining the application process, he said that the last date for applying has been fixed as January 5.
Scrutiny of applications on January 9
Regional level personal interviews will be held on 12–15 January and state level personal interviews and group discussions will be held on 21 January.
Pathania clarified that the applicant should be loyal to the ideology and values ​​of the Congress Party, history and social
Deep understanding of political issues, clear speech, command over language, strong communication skills and political awareness are considered essential.
On this occasion, All India Congress Committee Secretary Vidit Chaudhary, Chief Minister’s Principal Media Advisor Naresh Chauhan, Himuda Vice President Yashwant Chajta, besides Vinod Jinta, Rohit Vats Dhami, Sujay Agarwal were also present.
