High reaches witness fresh spell of snow in Himachal
The high reaches of Lahaul-Spiti, Chamba and Kinnuar witnessed fresh snowfall in the state and light to moderate rain and sailstone lashed rest of state.
District headquarter Keylong received 6.2 cm snowfall and Gondla 10.5 cm. Report of light to moderate snowfall also coming from 13050 ft Rohtang pass, Goshal hills Kunzum pass Lady of Keylong and high reaches of Chamba and Kangra district.
Sujanpur Tira(Hamirpur) recorded 25 mm rain, Seobagh(Kullu): 25.2, mm Khadrala(Shimla):22.5, mm, Bharmaur 16.5, Chamba 14.5 mm, Manali 26 mm, Bhuntar 13 mm, Mandi and Palampur 10 mm each.Hailstone also recorded in Palampur and Kufri in past 24 hrs.
Fresh spell of snowfall plummet Mercury drastically as it was minus 0.6 in Keylong. 4 degrees at Tourist resort Narkanda, Kukumseri in Lahaul-Spiti three degrees, Kufri, Manali and Dalhousie five, six and ten degrees respectively.
Minimum temperature of Shimla 11 degrees, Dharmshala 8.2, Mandi 10.7, Bilaspur 11.7 and Hamirpur 11.5 and Kangra and airport Jubberhati 13 and Airport Bhuntar 7.3.
