High reaches receive light SnowfallsColdwave intensified in the state

Fresh spell of Snowfall in the high reaches of Shimla and Chamba, mainly cloudy weather intensified bone chilling coldwave in the state as night temperature in most places was under subzero and in minus affecting the normal life, the Met Office said.
Bharmour and Chatrari in Chamba had five and four cm Snowfall, Tourist resort Kufri and Narkanda recorded light spell of Snowfall. High reaches of Lahaul Spiti, Shimla and Chamba is snowing as it was mainly cloudy Today.
Minimum Temperature in the state recorded two to three degrees Celsius below normal in the state moreover it was five degrees below normal in Shimla and Dalhousie.
Keylong had light spell of Snowfall and Minimum temperature of Keylong was minus eight degrees, Kalpa in Kinnaur minus 4.4 degrees, Shimla and Solan minus -0.2 degrees each.
Tourist resort Dalhousie in Chamba was minus 2.8 degrees, Kufri in Shimla minus two degrees,  Manali 0.2 degrees, Palampur in Kangra two degrees,  Dharmshala and Sundernagar in Mandi and 2.2 degrees each, Una 2.6 degrees, Kangra 2.8 degrees, Bhuntar in Kullu 2.9 degrees, Hamirpur and Jubberhati in Shimla three degrees.
Chamba 3.2 degrees, Bilaspur 3.5 degrees, Poanta-Shaib in Sirmaur 3.9 degress , Mandi four degrees, and Nahan in Sirmaur 7.9  degrees.
The Met Office forecast mainly dry weather in the state in next 24 hrs.
