Higher reaches of Himachal experiencing fresh snowfall
High reaches of Himachal Pradesh are experiencing snowfall and a few places in downstream are lashed by light rainfall, The weather is partly cloudy in the rest of the state.
The gondola in Lahaul Spiti had six cm of snowfall, Hansa five cm, and Keylong three cm.
Mandi had 19.4 mm of rain, Gohar 15 mm Banjar in Kullu 12.4 mm Pandoh 10 mm, Jogindernagar seven mm, and Dharamshala in Kangra 5.8 mm.
Vehicular traffic was open on the South portal of Rohtang Tunnel however it was witnessing light snowfall.
Indian Meteorological Department issued yellow alerts in a few places of the state predicting Thunderstorms and lightning.
Minimum temperature increases couple of degrees in the past 24 hrs as Keylong recorded minus 0.6 degrees, tourists resort Narkanda 3.9, Kalpa in Kinnaur 4.4, Dalhousie and Kufri 6.5 Shimla 9, Manali and Solan 11 degrees, Jubberhati airport 11.4 and Bhuntar airport 12.6, Dharamshala 11.5, Una 14, Nahan 13, Kangra 13.9, Mandi 12.4, Bilaspur 15.3, and Chamba 13 respectively.
