Health of 80 people was checked in a health camp in Junga
People were made aware about the targeted campaign of TB free India
On the occasion of the foundation day of the First Armed Police Battalion Junga, a one-day medical camp was organized by the Health and Family Welfare Department. In which the health of more than 80 people was examined and free medicines were distributed to the patients.
Dr. Manoj Verma, Medical Officer of Civil Hospital Junga, said that in this camp, tests were also done for blood pressure, sugar, HB, anemia etc. In which 60 patients of sugar and TB were screened. Apart from this, 10 new patients of blood pressure were identified who were given various tips and medicines to control blood pressure.
Dr Manoj told that people who came to the camp were also made aware about the Prime Minister’s TB Free India’s Nikshay Mitra Abhiyan. Dr Manoj told that if a person is suffering from cough, fever for more than two weeks and is losing weight, then if symptoms like blood in sputum, sweating etc. are found, then such a person must get tested in the nearest health institution. He told that all the facilities are available in Junga Hospital for testing the symptoms of TB disease. Apart from this, women were given information about menstruation and other diseases in the camp.
Medical officer Dr. Garima, health department employees MLT Anuradha, SN Kavita, NDK counsellor Praveen, CHO W Rani Thakur gave their commendable services in the camp.
