Health Minister making false announcements: Ramesh Chauhan
Ridiculing the health minister for making false public announcements to influence the electorates in Kasauli constituency, Congress Chief Spokesman Ramesh Chauhan today accused the minister Dr. Rajeev Sehjal of overlooking the development across the segment during the past fifteen years.
Addressing a press conference in Solan on Saturday, he said that being MLA of Kasauli constituency and S Health Minister, Rajiv Saizal has not been able to carry out needed development works in constituency Kasauli for the last four and a half years, but now seeing the elections near, he is making false announcements among the public.
Chauhan said that today Kasauli assembly constituency has lagged far behind in the field of education and health, the word development has disappeared from Kasauli.
Chauhan listing the developments that took place in Kasauli during the government of Virbhadra Singh, he said that today the BJP government of the state is discriminating against the area at the behest of of its own health minister. Chauhan said that now the elections are about to come, in such a situation, the Health Minister is now dreaming that he wants to win the election once again, and now going among the people and making false promises to the people in different areas and making false announcements through Chief Minister Jai Ram Thakur. Chauhan said that the Health Minister says that Bhojnagar’s Senior Secondary School has been upgraded during the BJP tenure, but he may have forgotten that the school is a gift of the Virbhadra government of the past; Chauhan said that Science Block should be built in Dharampur College. It has been three years but till now classes have not been able to sit here.
It has been 6 years since the PHC building in Pattabrori was built, in which about 78 lakhs were taken and its foundation stone was laid on 14th May 2016 but till date the health facilities are not available to the people there, he said that till date the inauguration is yet to be done. It is a shameful thing for a minister to have his own constituency.
He said that since the year 2016, PHC in Chamiya is also running in Panchayat Bhawan, due to which people are facing a lot of problems. Chauhan said that Health Minister Sehjal took 6 years to upgrade the Ayurvedic Hospital at Gadkhal in Kasauli constituency. Chauhan said that in the 2022 assembly elections, BJP’s MLA from Kasauli will be shown doors, even if BJP makes false promises , even if they call the Chief Minister and keep rhetoric among the people, but this time Congress’s victory is certain.
