HC seeks info on pending matter of SDP before NGT 

Himachal Pradesh High court on Wednesday sought information from the state about pending matter of Shimla Development Plan before National Green Tribunal giving three weeks for submitting reply. Division bench of chief Justice A.A Sayed and Vivek Singh Thakur of High court on its  own motion asked the state to verify  whether the Draft of Development Plan stands challenged before NGT or not. State Advocate General Ashok Sharma arned prayed for time to seek instructions to find out whether the Shimla  Development Plan, which is under challenge in the present petition before Himachal Pradesh High court is also being challenged before the National Green 

Tribunal and what is the status of the case there. The bench list the matter after two weeks. It is worthwhile to mention thata case before NGT is listed for 22.07.2022 on the application of one Yogendra Mohan Sen.
