Haryana Chief Minister sent Rs 5 crore relief amount to Himachal

Haryana Chief Minister Naib Singh Saini informed Chief Minister Sukhwinder Singh Saxu through a letter that in the difficult circumstances arising due to heavy rains, the Haryana Government and the people of the state stand with full sympathy with your efforts to provide prompt government assistance to the people.

In this hour of crisis, I have sent an amount of Rs 5 crore from the Haryana Chief Minister Relief Fund to your relief fund today through RTGS. If any kind of relief material or assistance is required, your Chief Secretary should feel free to inform our Chief Secretary. I assure you that all such material will be sent to you immediately from our state.

BJP State Media Coordinator informed that generous people of Panchkula, Ambala and nearby areas had collected this material and Haryana Chief Minister Naib Singh Saini had sent the relief amount through his hands yesterday. This material included 186 quintal rice, 153 quintal flour, 20 quintal salt, 65 quintal sugar, 20 quintal pulses, 25 kg turmeric, 750 kg spices, 2400 liters cooking oil, 50 kg tea leaves, 1000 tarpaulins, 1021 blankets, 1500 mattresses, 2600 soaps, 1200 packets of biscuits, 650 sanitary pads, utensils, toothpaste, water, Maggi, oats and other retail items. Thus 10 truckloads of material were flagged off from Panchkula BJP office for Chamba. This material will be distributed among the affected families of Chamba district as per requirement.
