Governor Shukla reviews the implementation of various schemes in Bilaspur

While presiding over the review meeting of various state and center-sponsored schemes being implemented in Bilaspur district held today at Bachat Bhavan Bilaspur, Governor Shiv Pratap Shukla directed the officers to get regular feedback from the public to ascertain the exact status of the developmental works.

He said that the Prime Minister has termed the next 25 years as Amrit Kaal. “During Amrit Kaal, we have to contribute in one way or the other in the development of the society, the state, and the country”, he said and added that the sincere effort, dedication, and conscientiousness of the administration were helpful in expediting development.

Shri Shukla said that he was quite impressed with the cleanliness system on his maiden visit to Bilaspur. He said that the officers should provide benefits of the various schemes to the people. Many schemes like Standup India Yojana, Pradhan Mantri Swanidhi Yojana, Kisan Credit Card, Integrated Horticulture Mission, etc., were successfully implemented in the district.

He asked the administration to contribute in making Himachal a tuberculosis Free State and inspire the maximum people to become Nikshay Mitra. He also emphasized on adopting natural farming. He also stressed upon the officers to make collective efforts to make Himachal drug-free.

Earlier, Deputy Commissioner Bilaspur, Abid Hussain Sadiq welcomed the Governor and informed about various schemes being implemented in the district.

Additional Deputy Commissioner, Dr. Nidhi Patel presented a vote of thanks.

Officials of various departments gave their presentations on the occasion.
