Governor Shukla inaugurates national level Holi festival at Sujanpur Tihra
Governor Shiv Pratap Shukla on Saturday inaugurated the four-day national-level Holi festival at the historic Sujanpur Tihra town in Hamirpur district. He offered prayers in the local Murli Manohar temple and participated in the traditional Shobha Yatra (procession) on the occasion.
Shiv Pratap Shukla also inaugurated the exhibitions put up by various departments, institutions, and self-help groups and evinced keen interest in them.
He lauded the people of Sujanpur Tihra for preserving their old traditions and felicitated them on the occasion of Holi.
Chairman, National Level Holi Organizing Committee and Deputy Commissioner Hamirpur Amarjeet Singh, SP Padam Chand and other senior officers of the district administration were also present on the occasion.
