Governor Shukla felicitates cyclist Asha Malviya
Governor Shiv Pratap Shukla felicitated Kumari Asha Malviya at Raj Bhavan today, who is traveling on a cycle throughout India and spreading the message of women’s safety and empowerment.
Asha Malviya hails from Madhya Pradesh and has also established her identity as a sportsperson and mountaineer. Her journey started from Bhopal on the occasion of Madhya Pradesh Foundation Day on 1st November 2022 and will end in New Delhi on the occasion of Independence Day. During her campaign, a total journey of 25 thousand km will be covered in 28 states of India. So far, she has covered a distance of 20000 km in 24 states and Himachal is the 25th State of her journey.
The Governor wished her success in her future endeavors and lauded her efforts.
