During this tenure every demand of Himachal Pradesh was taken care of looked into and fulfilled. The Congress governments at the Center used to ignore Himachal as a small state, but Prime Minister Narendra Modi took care of Himachal like his own small child. Today entire Himachal Pradesh is standing with you like a rock. This was stated by Chief Minister Jai Ram Thakur at the “Vijay Sankalp rally” organized in Sundanagar. Jai Ram Thakur said that it is the good fortune of all of us that Himachal Pradesh has always been getting the guidance and affection of Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
Jai Ram Thakur said that this time again the government of Bharatiya Janata Party will be formed in Himachal. This time we will win in the same way as we won five years ago. The Chief Minister said that ever since the Bharatiya Janata Party government was formed at the Centre modi ji has done every thing possible for himachal and he has supported the state government in every possible manner. Chief Minister Jai Ram Thakur thanked the Prime Minister for giving due respect to the culture and “Devi-Devta’s” of “Devbhoomi” participating in Kullu Dussehra shows his love . He said that when he participated in kullu dussehra that moment touched the heart of the people of Himachal .
‘PM Modi returned special category status to Himachal’
Chief Minister Jai Ram Thakur said that Himachal’s special category status was removed when Congress was in power at the Centre, but in 2014 when Modi ji became the Prime Minister and said that Himachal needs to be helped. He restored this status and the ratio of financial assistance to Himachal has increased from 60:40 to 90:10. The Chief Minister said that whatever help we needed in the era of Covid modi ji has done that help even on a phone call. It is only with your blessings that we did a better job in Covid management and Covid vaccination.
