Girls securing first position in classes 6th to 12th of GSSS, Cheyog enjoyed free air travel
Girls who secured first position in classes 6th to 12th of Government Excellent Senior Secondary School, Cheyog enjoyed free air, metro rail, AC train and Volvo bus travel at the personal expense of Principal Sandeep Sharma. Let us tell you that all the girls who secured first position are girls.
It is worth noting that last year on the occasion of Children’s Day, the principal of Chiyog School, Sandeep Kumar Sharma, had announced that the students who come first in class 6th, 7th and 8th would be taken on a three-day tour of Chandigarh in his car at his own expense, which he had also arranged during the winter holidays. Similarly, recently from 13th to 15th September, the principal arranged free air and rail travel for four students who came first in class 9th to 12th. These are Aarti, Tejaswi, Aastha Chandel and Anjali Kanwar respectively.
Let us tell you that last year, the topper of Government Senior Secondary School Balg was also given such a trip when Sandeep Sharma was working in Balg. The principal says that he provides such free trips to awaken the spirit of competition in the children and will continue to do so in future as well. The result of this competition is that now the children in Chiyog School are passing with more than 90 percent marks.
Principal Sandeep Sharma has also announced that students securing merit in the Himachal School Education Board Examination will also be given a cash prize of Rs 1 lakh. In the year 2020, he gave an amount of Rs 1 lakh each to two students, Kumari Simran and Kumari Sakshi, for securing excellent positions in the board merit. In the year 2019, Sandeep Sharma had constructed four rooms and a hall in Chiyog School from his personal account and donated it to the Education Department. Sandeep Sharma is known as an ideal teacher.
