Four persons washed away in swollen rivlut at Manikaran

One woman died three others missing as four people washed away in swollen Brahmaganga rivlut of Manikaran valley in Kullu district of Himachal this morning.

An information received from District Emergency Operation Centre Kullu (01902-225630) on Saturday  07 August 2021 at 08:25 PM, in this incident 04 persons were ststed that four persons washed away while they are crossing the inflated rivlut one woman died in the mishap as a body was recovered  from Pandoh dam.
Deceased was identified as Poonam Devi W/O Rohit Kumar Age (24) Village Brahm Ganga Post office Manikarn tehsil Bhuntar District Kullu.
Three others could not be traced. Search operation was being conducted along the river bank and in the Dam.
In the district death toll went upto 17 during the rainy season and seven people missing or washed away in the district so far.
