Four crore unemployed people in India are wandering in search of employment: Pratibha

State Congress President and MP Pratibha Singh has said that this time rising inflation and unemployment will be the two big issues against BJP in the Lok Sabha elections. She has said that Prime Minister Narendra Modi had promised to employ 2 crore people every year, which has proved to be completely false.

Pratibha Singh said that today more than four crore unemployed people in the country are wandering in search of employment. In 2012, the number of unemployed in the country was around one crore, now it has increased to more than four crore. According to the figures, this is the highest in the last 45 years. Similarly, the inflation rate has also increased unexpectedly. By bringing essential commodities petrol, diesel, LPG, CNG, and food items like flour, pulses, rice, edible oil, milk, and curd under the ambit of GST, the brunt of inflation has been imposed on the people. This has had a direct impact on the household savings of women.

Pratibha Singh has said that Congress will also make BJP’s failures an election issue. She said that at the time of the disaster, the BJP leaders of the state had a negative attitude which was very sad. She said that the BJP in the state continued to bake its political bread due to the disaster. At the Centre, no MP from the state BJP made any effort for relief from the disaster in the state. She said that the state BJP MLAs did not give any support to the government for disaster relief even in the special session of the state assembly. Criticizing this conduct of the BJP, he has said that the people of the state have known the policy and intentions of the BJP, hence this time they will have to face defeat in the state.
