Forest wealth tune to Rs 1000 Cr decaying in Himachal 

Himachal Pradesh Forest Department remained failed to tap massive ecological wealth by allowing timber woods to decay in the state’s demarcated jungles.

This information was shared by the department officials of the state government and Forest Corporation during a review meeting presided by Chief Minister Sukhvinder Singh Sukhuwho also holds the portfolio of Forest.

The large volume of timber woods to route in the state forest speaks about the financial bankruptcy of the state and inefficient Management of natural resources.

Accepting the negligence by part of the government and department and state forest Corporation  CM directed the officials to formulate SoP for marking and felling of dried trees in the state.
