For a healthy democracy, youth dialogues should be held: Pratibha

State Congress President and former MP Pratibha Singh has said that for a healthy democracy, youth dialogues should be held from time to time. She said that today’s youth are the future of the country, so it is important for them to have a good knowledge of parliamentary procedures.
Today, while participating as the chief guest and judge in the debate competition between the ruling party and the opposition among law students on parliamentary functioning under Indian democracy at Himachal Pradesh National Law University, Pratibha Singh said that such events also decide the future of the students. She congratulated all the law students participating in this event, who were playing the role of the ruling party and the opposition, on the successful organization of parliamentary functioning and parliamentary dialogue of the students.
During this, as judges, Professor Dr. Dinesh Chehal of Haryana University and Professor Dr. Umesh Kumar of Himachal Pradesh University Law Department also praised the confidence of the participants and their meaningful political discussion. He said that parliamentary discussion is very important in Indian democracy. He said that on one hand, this type of discussion and debate boosts their confidence and on the other hand, it also increases their thinking about politics and knowledge about parliamentary work.
During this, Vice Chancellor of Himachal Pradesh National Law University, Professor Dr. Preeti Saxena welcomed all the guests and expressed happiness over the participation of all the students in the parliamentary proceedings.
