Flying Festival and Hospitality Expo will be organized in Junga from 25 to 28 October : Arun Rawat
The third edition of the Flying Festival and Hospitality Expo 2025 will be organized from 25 to 28 October next month at Junga, adjacent to Shimla. More than 80 international paragliding pilots from 10 countries, hospitality brands, MSMEs, investors and thousands of tourists from India and abroad will participate in these two events.
In a special conversation, Meet Director of Shimla Flying Festival Arun Rawat told that the Ministry of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSME) of the Government of India has officially approved the organization of SFF Hospitality Expo-25 during the Flying Festival. Which will be a historic achievement for the tourism sector of Himachal Pradesh.
He said that this expo will be the first such platform in the region, which will bring together stakeholders from hospitality, adventure tourism, wellness, food and beverages to organic products, handicrafts and travel services. Global adventure sports will be organized for MSMEs and startups. This festival aims to return tourism to its old vibrancy and strengthen the entire eco-system related to tourism and hospitality.
He said that in this expo, special priority will be given to start-ups, MSMEs and self-help groups so that they will get the opportunity to display their products at very discounted rates. He said that up to 80 percent subsidy will be given on stall fee for general category entrepreneurs, while stalls for SC ST and women entrepreneurs will be provided completely free of cost. Interested participants can register their units online on the MSME portal under the PMS scheme.
Arun Rawat said that Shimla Flying Festival 2025, which has already been recognized as Pre-Paragliding World Cup and Pre-Asia League Championship, will give Shimla and Junga a prominent place on the global adventure sports map.
