Five die and others injured as truck overturns in Kangra

Five people died and others were injured at Near Uthragran Sub Division Dharamshala District Kangra a truck carrying ten people overturned on the road this afternoon.

 Five persons died on the spot and the other five sustained injuries and were shifted to Tanda Medical Hospital for treatment.

Deceased identified as Sunil Kant S/o Baldev  Smt. Sita Devi W/o Sunil Kant Ms. Trisha Devi D/o Sunil Kant, Ms. Arti W/o Kushal Kumar, and Milap Chand S/o Ashok Kumar.

Chief Minister, Thakur Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu has expressed grief over the death of persons, who lost their lives in a road accident at Rasehar village of Gram Panchayat Uthragran in Dharamshala assembly constituency of Kangra district today.

“The Government stands by the family in this hour of sorrow and directions have been issued to the district administration to provide immediate relief to the families of victims”, said the Chief Minister. 

He wished speedy recovery of the injured and directed the hospital authorities to provide the best possible treatment to them.
