Even today I introduce myself as a lawyer, not as a politician: Rathore

All India Congress Committee spokesperson and Theog MLA Kuldeep Rathore said that his identity is less as a politician and more as an advocate. The legal profession has played an important role in whatever position he has reached today. MLA Kuldeep Rathore, who was the chief guest at the fresher’s party of the Law Department at Himachal Pradesh University, said that even today when he meets a person, he introduces himself not as a politician but as a lawyer. Kuldeep Rathore said that he has practiced law in the State High Court and Supreme Court. He was a senior advocate in the Government of India for a decade. Even today he is a senior advocate of Railways. He said that this identity was developed only when he studied law. Addressing law students, Rathore said that politics should never be a profession. I too never considered politics as a profession in my life. My profession has been advocacy since the beginning. He said that even today he can say with full confidence that a good lawyer can also become a good politician. People from the legal profession do not go around talking like politicians. I speak clearly. Our thinking should be clear for service and development work. He said that students whose last semester is theirs have many options. They can study law, start practice, and prepare for exams. He said that any student who has studied law has no lack of self-confidence. He has knowledge of law. The specialty of a lawyer is that he can be friends with everyone from a tea vendor to the President. If he joins politics, he knows how to deal with bureaucracy and how to present the issues of the area in the Assembly. He congratulated all the children and asked them to move forward with self-confidence and goals. He came back after studying at the village school. The goal was to become a lawyer, he studied law and became a lawyer. He said that former Prime Minister Late. Indira Gandhi’s basic mantra was that if you work hard, and have strong determination and strong intentions, you will get success. He called upon the students to move forward by adopting this basic mantra. Before this, a cultural program was organized by the college students. All the teachers of the Law Department were also present in the program.
