Even doctors are worried under Congress rule: Nanda

BJP state media in-charge Karan Nanda said that one doctor each is responsible for the treatment of patients in the community health center and civil hospital. Now doctors are facing mental distress due to continuous duty for more than 24 hours for several months. Under the Indian Public Health Service Standards, doctors have not been deployed in the community health centers and civil hospitals under the sanctioned posts in the state.

There should be 10 doctors deployed in most of the community health centers in the state and 20 doctors in civil hospitals. But at present, in most of the health centers, work is being done by one doctor each. Due to this, it has become difficult for doctors to take a day off. Don’t know when this government will fill these vacant posts, those who provide one lakh jobs are not able to provide even a single job today. In this way a big question mark is raised on the government.

He said that in Bilaspur district, a doctor is providing services in community health centers Hatwar, Harlog, Talai, Ghawandal, Panjgain, Swarghat. 13 posts are vacant in Kangra Civil Hospital Noorpur, 6 posts in Thural, all the posts in Khudian are vacant. Due to vacancy of one post in Civil Hospital Congo in Kinnaur, one in Community Health Center Sainj in Kullu district and one in Patlikuhal, the work is being run day and night with the same doctor. Two doctors are posted in Community Health Center Shansha in Lahaul Spiti district and the remaining posts are vacant. There are no doctors posted in civil hospitals Ladbhaddol and Chauntada in Mandi. 4 posts are vacant in Civil Hospital Nagwai, 3 in Kotli, 2 in Tihra, 3 in Mandap. All posts of doctors are vacant in Community Health Center Cholanghat, Ashla, Pandoh. Whereas only one doctor is posted in Community Health Center Madhi, Pangana, Cholthara. Apart from this, 5 posts are vacant in Sirmaur Civil Hospital Dadahu and only one doctor is posted in Community Health Center Kafota, Sangrah, Chilllog. Whereas in Chamba, 6 posts are vacant in Civil Hospital Bharmour, 4 in Kihar, 8 in Tissa and 6 in Killad.
