Electricity saving tips given to students in Degree College Chail Koti

 In view of the development taking place in Himachal Pradesh, the demand for electricity supply is increasing. For this, while electricity production is being promoted in the state, electricity production can also be supported by saving electricity. State Electricity Board Advisor Anurag Parashar gave this information to the students while interacting with them in a day-long camp organized at Government College Chail Koti about electricity production and saving.
He said that the gap between demand and supply of electricity is increasing in which electricity saving can play an important role. He said that in today’s modern era, it is necessary for consumers and people of all sections of society to have information about electricity and related matters.
He said that the general public should use the daily use electrical appliances like TV, fridge, geyser, lights etc. only as per the requirement, which will not only lead to savings in their own electricity bills but will also increase the government’s revenue. He said that in case of any obstruction in the power supply, the Board’s toll free number 1800-180-8060 or 1912 can also be contacted.
On this occasion, while praising the electricity board employees, he said that due to the tireless efforts of the employees of the electricity board, efficient electricity is being provided in the state. He said that due to various efforts in the board, the board has received a profit of Rs 315 crore this year, while many online facilities have also been started for electricity consumers, such as recently the online “Multiple Bill Payment Portal” is an efficient and convenient way of paying electricity bills of multiple electricity accounts of electricity consumers in one go.
College Principal Dr. Subhash Kapata thanked the Board for providing information related to electricity and urged the students to adopt information management in life so that they can achieve success in life.
