Elections should be conducted through democratic process, Janedghat School

 In order to give information about the importance of voting, the election of head girl and head boy was conducted in accordance with the democratic process at Government Senior Secondary School, Janedghat on Monday. In which Diksha of class 12th was chosen as the head girl and Jai Dhiman was chosen as the head boy.
Principal Dr. Sohan Ranta played the role of Returning Officer and Anil Kumar played the role of Assistant Returning Officer in this election. The Principal said that 118 out of 120 students exercised their franchise in this election. He told that Deeksha got 61 votes out of 118 and Jai Dhiman got 50 votes. Dr. Ranta said that to conduct well-organized and planned elections, Rajendra Kumar was appointed as the presiding officer and Renu, Vandana and Babita were appointed as polling officers. He said that as per the democratic process, the entire process including the date of filing nomination papers and the date of withdrawal of nominations was followed in letter and spirit in this election.
Dr. Ranta said that the purpose of the election process in school is to make children aware of the democratic system. Whatever be the compulsion, the message of the importance of voting first has to be spread to every home through children so that all voters can exercise their franchise on the coming 1st of June.
