Election Commission should take cognizance of BJP candidate Sudhir Sharma: Maheshwar Chauhan
State Congress has strongly condemned the statement of BJP candidate from Dharamshala Sudhir Sharma in which he has threatened a police officer. Congress Party’s State Vice President and Social Media Co-Chairman Maheshwar Chauhan has expressed strong objection to Sudhir Sharma’s statement. In which Sudhir Sharma has talked about teaching a lesson to the police officer.
Maheshwar Chauhan said that Sudhir Sharma has lost his mental balance as soon as he joined BJP. On one hand, Sudhir Sharma seems certain of his defeat, on the other hand, he is now losing his temper and talking about threatening the officer.
Maheshwar Chauhan said that the way Sudhir Sharma is threatening an IPS officer, his statement is condemnable. He should immediately apologize for this statement. He said that along with changing the party, Sudhir Sharma has also changed his image and style. The kind of threat he has given to SP Shimla is very condemnable. The language they are using is something they got after changing parties. There is rule of law in the country and state, here no public representative has the right to threaten any officer or employee. The Congress party will complain about this to the Election Commission and demand strict action against the BJP leader. He said that ever since he joined BJP, his real face has been exposed. He said that 6 former MLAs including Sudhir Sharma have set an example of betrayal in the state which people are watching. The people of the state have seen how 6 people joined BJP with treachery and allurement.
Maheshwar Chauhan said that who is behind the way BJP is running with the help of threats? All the people of the state know this and the people of the state will answer them in the elections. He said that threats have no place in democracy. BJP is forgetting the dignified language in the elections and is using unrestrained language which is not good for democracy. He warned the BJP leaders that if their leaders do not exercise restraint in time, they will have to suffer the consequences.
