Easing Covid restriction : Himachal opens school eighth standards onward

Taking note easing Covid pandemic situation and declining positivity rates in the state government decided to open all schools above eighth onward, a notification issued by the Chairman-State Executive Committee (SEC) said.

The notification issued here today said that decision has been taken i wake of present situation of COVID-19 active cases and positivity rate in the  State All schools and educational institutions above eighth strandard would open from Oct 11, 2021 however classes below eighth standard continue to be remained off .
For the schools above 8th standard including residential schools should have to follow the SOPs developed by the Department  of Education would be followed to contain the spread of COVID-19. 
The order said that any person violating these measures and not following COVID appropriate behavior will be liable to be proceeded against as per the provision of Section 51-60 of the Disaster Management Act, 2005, besides legal action under Sec. 188 of the IPC, and other legal provisions as applicable.
State Government already decided to open class tenth, and ten plus two and under graduate classes of degree colleges anduniversities.
