Earth Day celebrated in Dhali School

World Earth Day was celebrated with great pomp in the Government High School, Dhali, in Peeran Panchayat, situated at the end of Mashobra Block. On this occasion, under the guidance of school principal Rakesh Verma, the children planted saplings in the school premises and also took a pledge to save the Earth.
Under the leadership of Eco Club in-charge Poonam, children presented many programs on Earth Day in the prayer session. In which children presented lectures on the importance of Earth on human life, what would have happened if there was no Earth, protection and conservation of Earth etc. Children also explained the importance of Earth through poems. Mannat made the children and school staff take a pledge to save the Earth and pledged that they will consider Earth as their mother and will repeat their commitment to protect and safeguard it. Riya and Aarushi presented speeches in Hindi and English and received applause.
Eco club in-charge Poonam got the children to plant flowers and fruit trees and also gave them the responsibility of their maintenance and protection. On the other hand, Aarushi, a promising student of class 10th, celebrated this day and the school day.

While primary wing in-charge Hemlata Thakur said that human life exists because of the earth, without it human life cannot be imagined. She said that trees and plants play an important role in saving the earth. In such a situation, it is important to understand their importance on earth. Along with this, it is also very important to know about biodiversity.
He explained the importance of the earth to the children by giving many examples.
