The Kumarsain Student Welfare Association organized a grand “Ehsaas” program at the Gaiety Theatre, Shimla. The program was presided over by Welfare Association President Piyush Bhardwaj. Speaking on the occasion, Sandipani Bhardwaj said that the “Drug-Free Youth – Developed India” initiative was launched in Varanasi in July 2025. Over 100 spiritual organizations and thousands of youth from across the country united in this campaign to pledge to build a drug-free India. He said that the adoption of the Kashi Declaration was a historic moment, empowering young people to lead India’s fight against drug abuse through awareness, empathy, and community efforts.

What began as a spiritual gathering has now transformed into a widespread mass movement. This is proof that when youth power moves forward with determination, it can bring about lasting social change.
