Drug addiction has reached rural areas: Kuldeep Rathore

A free eye camp was organized in Theog by the Inner Wheel Club and Rotary Club Theog. In this camp that lasted for three days, 1100 people got their eyes checked. During this period, expert doctors also performed successful eye operations on 80 people. This camp lasted for three days. In which people from rural areas participated enthusiastically. This camp has proved to be very beneficial for the people of rural areas who are unable to come to the hospital for their treatment. On the last day of the program, All India Congress Committee spokesperson and Theog MLA Kuldeep Rathore was the chief guest. He appreciated the efforts of the Inner Wheel Club and Rotary Club. He said that such an initiative in itself is a commendable step. He also announced to give Rs 25,000 to the organization for this. Rathore said that his effort is to ensure that the people of the area get better health facilities. For this, he has appealed to the state government to fill the posts of doctors in Theog Hospital. He said that he has raised the demand with the Chief Minister that the district-level hospital should be in Theog instead of Shimla. This was also discussed in the Congress Legislature Party meeting. All the MLAs of the district agree on this. He said that soon the government is going to take steps in this direction.

Be careful about drugs – Kuldeep Rathore said that we are facing many problems today. The biggest problem is drug addiction. Many parents met him and were stunned when he narrated his plight. He said that drug addiction has reached rural areas. We all need to remain alert. Kuldeep Rathore said that the state government has sent a proposal to the Center in which the demand has been raised that bail should not be given in this case. He said that this is a matter of concern for the entire society. Everyone should work in this direction.
