Dr Tanwar demanded making provision for mid day meals & construction in secondary school of Adarsh ​​village Saul

The roof of our school is leaking in your ideal village. Bags and books get wet. This is the agony of the children of the secondary school of Adarsh ​​village Saul, the Prime Minister of Baldeyan Panchayat. The population of the village is around 1000 in which more than 87.25 percent of the population belongs to the Scheduled Castes.

In the year 2017, its status was increased from primary school to secondary but no provision was made for school building. The Panchayat got two rooms built by collecting money from public cooperation, corporate social responsibility etc., but due to lack of money, quality construction work could not be done. Now water is dripping from the lens of the school building. Children come in the morning and first clean the water from the room and the lantern, after that make a place to sit. In such an environment, the education of the children is getting affected.

There are 41 children in the middle school who do not have enough seating. The children of a class have to sit in the verandah. The school does not even have a kitchen for preparing mid-day meals. Lunch has to be prepared in the primary school itself.

State President of Kisan Sabha, Dr. Kuldeep Singh Tanwar has demanded from the Additional Director that financial provision should be made for the construction of two rooms above the existing building and roof over it for the Government Secondary School. At the same time, financial provision should also be made for the construction of mid-day meal kitchen.

The Additional Director assured the delegation that the department would soon take appropriate action on the demands.
