Dist Admin issue advisory to drive slowly on icy roads

 Lahaul-Spiti district administration sounded advisory to Tourists and local people to derive slowly on the icy and black ice road to avoid misshap in the district.
An Advisory issued by the district administration said that owning to black house formation, the road has been rendered slippery at some points in the valley and has become narrow due to snow on sides of the road.
The drivers are required to drive safely while crossing of vehicles coming in opposite directions.
All types of tourist vehicles are allowed to enter the valley  𝐛𝐞𝐭𝐰𝐞𝐞𝐧 𝟏𝟎𝟎𝟎 hrs 𝐭𝐨 1400 hrs and 𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐲 𝐦𝐮𝐬𝐭 𝐫𝐞𝐭𝐮𝐫𝐧 𝐛𝐚𝐜𝐤 𝐭𝐨 𝐌𝐚𝐧𝐚𝐥𝐢 𝐛𝐞𝐟𝐨𝐫𝐞 1500hrs 
Tourist vehicles shall be allowed to travel beyond Sissu and up to Keylong from 1000 hrs to 1300 hrs and should return back to Manali by 1400 hrs only.
There shall be no restrictions on the movement of employees,local residents of Lahaul and Pangi.
Tourists are advised to adhere to all safe winter driving habits on NH-3.

Two National Highway and 35 link road are snowbound in the district Lahaul Spiti and Chamba as NH-3 is close at Rohtang pass and from Darcha to Sarchu and be NH-505 block from Gramphu to Lossar. 27 link road is snowbound in Lahaul and six Udaipur in Subdivision and one in Pangi.
36 water supply schemes are affected due to freezing including 30 scheme in Lahaul and six in Spiti Sub Division.
