Dhalli HRTC workshop gutted in devastating fire

A devastating fire broke out at  Himachal Road Transport Corporation ( HRTC ) workshop of Shimla Rural Depot of located in Dhali out skirt of Himachal Pradesh State capital this night.  Report and visual sent on Social media indicated anold transport corporation bus parked in the workshop were in blazes which was reduced to ashes now.  .A sudden fire broke out in the workshop of around 9:30 pm on Tuesday night .  A watchman on night duty immediately informed the fire department and higher officials of HRTC about the fire . In a hurry , the drivers of the corporation removed four other buses in the queue . Due to which other buses were saved from coming in the grip of fire . HRTC Managing Director Sandeep Kumar , Regional Manager Shimla Local Vinod Sharma , Regional Manager Headquarters Deva Singh Negi and other officials rushed the spot. Managing director Sandeep Kumar told UNI that an old bus parked in the workshop reduced to ashes in the mishap however he said that much property damaged it could not ascertained immediately and it could be confirmed after the actual assessment of the loss. He said that reason of the incident would be probed He said that preliminary information said that an old tires of the buses kept in the workshop caught fire and spread rapidly . Four fire engine were deployed to doused  the infernos which took hours control after a lot of efforts . On receiving the information about the fire , Shailendra Chauhan , Deputy Mayor of Municipal Corporation Shimla also reached the spot .
