Development projects worth ₹25 crore in Chintpurni Dham: Anurag Thakur

Union Minister for Information Broadcasting and Sports and Youth Programs, Shri Anurag Singh Thakur expressed his heartfelt gratitude to Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi for inaugurating development projects worth Rs 25 crore at the famous Shaktipeeth Mata Chintpurni Ji Dham of Himachal through virtual medium today.

Shri Anurag Singh Thakur said, “It is a matter of great happiness for us that the Prime Minister of the country, Honorable Shri Narendra Modi ji is inaugurating development projects worth about Rs. 25 crores under the Prasad scheme at the famous Shaktipeeth Mata Chintpurni Ji Dham today through virtual medium. On this auspicious occasion, I express my gratitude to the Prime Minister of the country, Honorable Shri Narendra Modi, and along with this, I also congratulate and best wishes to the devotees who visit Mata Chintpurni Ji Dham from Himachal and the entire nation. Under the Prasad Scheme, Shri Chintpurni In the first phase of development of the Devi Temple complex, facilities will be developed for the devotees. These mainly include Kirtan Hall, Prasad Distribution Room, 38 shops, Food Court, Control Room, Devotee Waiting Room, Security Check Room, Emergency and First Aid Room. , drinking water facility etc. and facilities for barrier free movement like lifts and ramps, separate corridor for VVIPs, ropeway, entry and development gates for visitors etc. will be developed.

Shri Anurag Thakur further said, “With the Rs 25 crore given by the Government of India to the Ministry of Tourism, employment and self-employment opportunities will be provided along with the development of infrastructure. This will promote local folk, art, culture, cuisine and Tourism will get a lot of benefits. For example, when Modi ji developed pilgrimage sites like Kashi Vishwanath Dham, Ayodhya Dham and Mahakal Lok, the number of devotees there increased by 5 times and along with employment, self-employment opportunities. The local handicrafts, art and culture there also got a lot of promotion. After the development of Mata Chintpurni Ji Dham, the arrival of tourists will increase here and along with it, new opportunities will open up for the local people.”

Shri Anurag Thakur made a special request to the temple administration, shopkeepers of Chintpurni and the general public, saying, “Rs 100 to 300 crores have been spent on the Golden Temple, Tirupati Balaji, Mata Vaishno Devi Dham and other Dhams. I request that Along with this Rs 25 crore, we should also take money from the Temple Trust and take some loan to get more grand construction done here. We will also try to get more money sanctioned from the Central Government. Initially we had sanctioned Rs 51 crore but Due to some reasons, like delay in land acquisition, it has been delayed. I feel that all of us together should make the model project bigger and grander. Our aim should be to increase the tourist footfall manifold.
