Deleting at Tamil Nadu, CEO along spouse enters him HP Electoral

 In a run up to Himachal Pradesh 2022 Vidhan Sabha Election special voter drive, Chief Electoral Officer Mr C Palrasu today registered him as new voter for Kasumpti Assembly constituency here today.
Chief Electoral Officer of Himachal Pradesh, Mr. C. Palrasu himself turned up before the Mr. Rajendra Kumar (Clerk, Animal Husbandry) and Mr. Sundar, at polling booth-81, which comes under 62- Kasumpti Vidhan Sabha constituency. 
Before the booth officer Ram Choudhary (Technician, Jal Shakti Department) CEO personally transferred the name of himself and his wife Smt. Bhanumati from their previous polling  booth at native place at Tamil Nadu to Kasumpti Vidhan Sabha constituency of Himachal Pradesh at pooling booth Mehli.
The top ECI officer also uploaded their photo to Electoral list with help of  GARUDA APP on this occasion.
 In this context, the booth level officers apprised the CEO about the problems they are facing during registration and Correction of entries with help of GARUDA APP and VOTERHELPLINE APP. The CEO also assured to get resolved problem being faced by them soon with assistance of Election Commission of India.
Mr C Palrasu requested all the citizens of state that if they have attained the age of 18 or more as on January 1, 2022, then by going to VOTER HELPLINE APP /ONLINE/Polling Center in their respective polling station, they should fill their name in Form 6.  
Apart from this also urged people that they could apply on Form-8 for correction in the existing registration and make sure to get the name of the voters who have left the place or the name of the deceased by filling Form-7.
  On this occasion, the top Electoral Officer appreciated  working of booth level officers to make the Special  Revision of Electoral roll for 2022 Assembly Election
