CSIR-IHBT celebrated 7th Ayurveda day
Council of Scientific and Industrial Research (CSIR)- Institute of Himalayan Bioresource Technology (IHBT) Palampur celebrated the 7th Ayurveda day on 14th October, 2022. It was organized by the Ministry of AYUSH, and celebrated every year on Dhanteras day. The main theme of celebration this year was “Har Din Har Ghar Ayurveda”.
Dr. Rajesh Saand, Assistant Director, Regional Ayurveda Research Institute, Mandi, addressed the audience and enlighten them about the importance of Ayurveda diet in day -to-day life. He also interacted with the audience and resolved their queries about Ayurveda facts and myths. Additionally, Dr. Anubha Chandla, Research Officer (Ayurveda) delivered a lecture on human nature, provided information related to treatment and diet according to Kapha, Pitta and Vata nature of an individual. Furthermore, a nature testing “Prakriti Assessment” camp was also organized on the occasion. In this camp, all the participants were medically examined and guided about the diet and treatments according to their nature.
Dr. Yogendra Padwad, Principal Scientist, CSIR-IHBT, on the behalf of Dr. Sanjay Kumar, Director of the Institute, thanked to the Regional Research Institute of Ayurveda team, and also requested them to organize such informative programs in near future.
