Crowd gathered to watch Talai Chhinj – Mirza Irani win’s Mali for the second time

The famous Talai Chhij fair of North India concluded with great enthusiasm yesterday evening. Iran’s famous wrestler Mirza Irani has set a record by capturing Mali for the second time. Mirza Irani won the title by defeating Punjab’s famous wrestler Sandeep in the finals. Whereas last year Mirza Irani won Mali. Local Panchayat head Dinesh Jogta said that this time a gardener’s prize of Rs 1.35 lakh was given by the fair committee, out of which Rs 80 thousand was given to Mirza Irani and Rs 55 thousand was given to runner-up Sandeep Pehalwan.
He said that more than three hundred famous wrestlers from Jammu and Kashmir, Punjab, Haryana, Chandigarh, Himachal, Nepal, and Iran showed their talent at the fair. An amount of Rs 10 lakh was spent by the fair committee on organizing this Chhinj fair. In which the charitable gentlemen have made a commendable contribution. Thousands of people gather to enjoy the Chhinj fair.
Let us tell you that since time immemorial, Talai ki Chhinj is very famous and is celebrated every year in the name of Deshu Timba Kali Mata. Dinesh Jogta said that Kali Mata of Deshu Timba is the worshipable goddess of the area. People of the area have been organizing this Chhinj in the past with a commitment to please Kali Mata.
A lucky draw was also conducted on this occasion. In which the winner of Alto K10 was Ashu Parsaiq (coupon number 2085) of Nerwa. The winner of the second prize, Scooty, Atar Singh (coupon number 5286), and the winner of the third prize, Santoshi Devi Gadevag (coupon number 3714), won the geared bicycle.
Baldev Thakur, owner of Adventure Resort Kufri participated in this fair as the chief guest. While Arhtiya Sangh chief Harish Thakur and Nishant Nag were present as special guests. Baldev Sharma played the role of special sponsor.
