Cracks appeared in Balraj’s house in Nehra Kamhali – administration got it vacated
Due to continuous heavy rainfall and landslides for the past one week, the life of the people of Junga tehsil has been disrupted. Residential houses and cow sheds in many villages have come under threat and the farmers’ fields and crops have been destroyed and the connecting roads of the villages have been broken.
Tehsildar Junga Narayan Singh Verma said that heavy rain has caused cracks in the house of Balraj son of Dina Nath in village Nehra Kamhali of Janedghat Panchayat. Due to which this house has been evacuated. The affected family has been shifted to their relative’s house. The affected family has been provided with two tarpaulins and immediate assistance of Rs 20,000.
He said that the debris behind Rajendra’s house in Kalhot village and the landslide in front of Pyare Lal’s house in Nehra Kamhali have endangered their houses. Jeet Ram’s cowshed in Kalhot village and Shakt Ram’s field in Padthana have been damaged by the landslide.
The Tehsildar informed that in Junga Tehsil, many village link roads constructed by the Panchayats have been broken, including link road Rihaee Jubad to Kamali, Rihaee Jubad Kainchi to Bagda, Kalhot to Thud, Jeetnagar to Nehra, Dharmod to Danalta road, Devtala to Dohai, Bandli to Heevan road, Chayal to Bandli road, Jeetnagar to Lakhoti, Shalot to Toru, Janedghat to Bhalawag, Jalaf to Padhechi, Sengan Nala to Loha link road, Sengan Nala to Chevda, Kotvarsha Shalika to Koon and Bhadech Varsha Shalika to Bhadech village link roads have been blocked.
