CPM to fight on 14 Assembly seat, Ten candidate finalize

The CPI(M) State Secretariat  has finalized the names of 10 candidates for the Himachal Pradesh Assembly elections.  According to state secretary Dr Onkar Shad the names of the candidates of Shimla, Una, Solan and Kullu are to be decided.  All these names will soon be sent to the Politburo for approval.  CPI(M) leader and Theog MLA Rakesh Singha would again enter the fray.  CPI(M) is preparing to contest elections in 14 assembly seats of the state.  The CPI(M) state committee meeting would be held in Mandi on October 2.  In other seats, the CPI(M) would participate in the assembly elections in coordination with the CPI.  An important meeting was held on Tuesday at the party’s state office under the chairmanship of the party’s state secretary Onkar Shad.  CPI(M) state secretary Onkar Shad said that in the meeting name  of MLA Rakesh Singha from Theog, Devki Nand from Ani, Kushal Bhardwaj from Jogendranagar, Bhupendra Singh from Dharmpur ,  Mahendra Rana from Saraj, Dr.  Kashmir Singh Thakur from Hamirpur, Narendra Singh from Chamba, Ashish Kumar from Pachhad and Dr Kuldeep Singh Tanwar from Kasumpti and Kishori Lal from Karsog.  Now the names of CPI(M) candidates for Shimla, Arki and Kullu seats are to be decided soon.  In the meeting of the State Secretariat, CPI(M) Secretariat member Dr.  Onkar Shad Dr.  Kuldeep Tanwar, Prem, Dr.  Kashmir Singh, Sanjay Chauhan and Kushal Bhardwaj were present.
