CPI(M) initiated its election campaign in support of India Alliance candidate Vikramaditya

The Joginder Nagar Local Committee of the CPI(M) has initiated its election campaign in support of India Alliance candidate Vikramaditya Singh for the Mandi Lok Sabha constituency. Kushal Bhardwaj, a CPI(M) state secretariat member and Mandi district election in-charge, held a meeting with prominent leaders of CPI(M) Joginder Nagar and formed zonal committees for the elections. Bhardwaj emphasized the threat posed by the BJP to parliamentary democracy, alleging its intentions to abolish the constitution and dismantle welfare schemes, including reservations and social security pensions. He highlighted the growing opposition to the BJP across states and stressed the significance of each seat in the upcoming elections.

Various workers’ meetings were organized across different zones, including Machhayal, Makridi, Ranaropa, Tullah-Khaddar, Aihju, Chauntara, and Joginder Nagar. Elected representatives participated in Panchayati Raj meetings, and responsibilities were delegated to workers. In a joint meeting with the India Alliance, Bhardwaj and Congress Block Committee President Surendra Kumar called for coordinated efforts to ensure Vikramaditya Singh’s victory. They agreed to conduct joint election campaigns from May 16 onwards and announced plans for a joint press conference on the same day.

The campaign aims to counter the BJP’s agenda and secure victory for the India Alliance candidate in the Mandi Lok Sabha constituency. By mobilizing local committees and forming zonal committees, the CPI(M) is actively engaging in grassroots organizing to strengthen the opposition’s position in the upcoming elections. The joint efforts with the India Alliance underscore the importance of collaboration in challenging the ruling party and advancing alternative political agendas.
