CPI(M) express shock over missing of toddler from outskirts of Shimla since Diwali night

The state unit of CPI(M) expressed  concern over the tragic incident of lifting a five year-old child from outside the house on Diwali night in Downdale area of Shimla city and demanded the State Government to investigate and ruled out the possibility of crime behind the tragic incident.
In a press statement issued by the party secretariat member and Shimla district unity SecretarySanjay Chauhan said that party stands with the affected family in this hour of grief and demands the government to provide immediate relief to the affected family.
The whole city is stunned by this astonishing incident that took place in the heart of Shimla city on the night of Diwali.  The kind of speculation that is being made that this child has been raised by a leopard  or any other animal, until this child is not found, it is not possible to confirm the facts.  Therefore, it needs to be investigated thoroughly and the reality should come before the public.
The CPM team reached the spot as soon as the news of this tragic incident was received and also met the family members of the child, administration and forest department officials.  
During this it came to know that the police and forest department teams are working to find the child since the night of the incident, but so far no success has been found in finding it.  
It still remains a mystery whether the child has been taken away by a leopard or some other animal. Most of the people of the area suspect that this child has been taken away by the leopard  as similar  incident had already reported in the nearby forest of the town recently and department had also set up a trap to cage the Leopard in the adjoining area.  .

 Three months before this incident, a girl was also taken away from the Kanlog area by a Leopard and the tragic incident of killing her came to the fore.  Keeping these circumstances in mind, the the forest department should investigate this incident thoroughly.
”If this incident has also been carried out by this cannibal leopard, then the forest department should take immediate steps to control or hunt the cannibal tiger so that in future such tragic incident  don’t happen.
For some time now, leopards have been commonly sighted in Shimla city and its adjoining areas due to which there is an atmosphere of panic among the residents of the town. 
This incident of child lifting in Downdale has created panic in the minds of the public and keeping the present situation in mind, the Government and the Forest Department will have to prepare an action plan for the conservation of tigers and other wild animals by adopting scientific methods and coordinate between them and the public, so that there is no fear ofthem in the public.  And they could also be protected.  Party assured the department to extend all possible cooperating with their officials in the rescue operation.
