Covid restrictions to continue in Himachal no decision to open schools

Taking note of on going Covid pandemic situation and high positivity rates in the state Himachal Pradesh Government decided to further extend the Covid restrictions till further notice a notification issued by the Chairman-State Executive Committee (SEC) said.
The notification issued here today said that decision has been taken in wake of the present situation of COVID-19 active cases and positivity rate in the  State. 
On Sep 14 State Administration has also decided to extend these restrictions till Sep 21 which is extended again today.
All schools shall continue to remain close, except residential schools further up to Sep 25, 2021 however teaching and non-teaching staff shall continue to attend the school, notification mentioned.
For residential schools SOPs developed by the Department of Education would be followed to contain the spread of COVID-19. 
The order said that any person violating these measures and not following COVID appropriate behavior will be liable to be proceeded against as per the provision of Section 51-60 of the Disaster Management Act, 2005, besides legal action under Sec. 188 of the IPC, and other legal provisions as applicable.
The State Government has already decided to open undergraduate classes of degree colleges with effect from Sep 1.
Due to increasing Political activities and massive movement of commuters and Tourists on weekends to hills stations loom large the threat of 3rd wave of Covid pandemic in the state. This capital town saw sudden spurt in the number of tourists on Sunday on the weekend.  
Number of tourists and  Government functionaries then shelves are not following such  restrictions properly as every third or fourth person in the gathering is visible without a mask or not wearing it properly . 
Number of persons gathering in a place also found glaring violations of social distancing or congestion of space.
The state government claimed that it had given the first dose of Covid Vaccine to 100 percent  of the adult population, likely to  ease out the occupancy in the hospital.
