Covid Ex-gratia relief paid to 2442 in HP
Himachal Pradesh Government said today that out of 4210 people died due to Covid in the state so far and 2442 were distributed ex graitia relief by the government. A spokesperson of state diaster mangement authority said in a press statement that as many as 2760 people applied for the compensation and 2442 were provided compensation and 315 casesc are pending with the government.
Ex – Gratia payments was provided to 171 dependent of deceased vand three were pending, In Chamba- 164& 8 Hamirpur 178 & 51 Kangra 605 & 93 Kinnaur 36 and no pending, Kullu 132 & 20 Lahaul & Spitii 19 and 3 Mandi 301 & 24 Shimla 278 and 7, Sirmaur 115 & 30 Solan 140 & 15 Una 303 & 61.State Health authority have record of 4114 death due to Covid however according to state diaster Management authority toral death due to covid sofar is 4210. Additional 96 People killed in Bilaspur district and three of them of refused to take ex- graitia. Chief minister said that State government is providing Rs 50000 to next of deceased from the state diaster Response Fund.
