Court remand’s four persons for three days in JOA ( IT ) paper leak case

A local court on Saturday further remanded four persons to police custody for three days in the infamous leak case of HP staff selection boards JOA ( IT paper. Those who were sent to police custody were Uma Azad, the main accused, Sanjeev Kumar, the tout, Nitin Azad, elder son of Uma Azad and Shashi Pal, brother of Sanjeev. Notably, eight persons have so far been arrested in the paper leak case that is causing furore all over India since last week. While four are in police remand, others are in judicial custody. Meanwhile, the Vigilance department has also rounded up the driver and peon of the former Secretary of the commission in this case. They are yet to be arrested, said informed sources in the Vigilance bureau. A special investigation team of the HP Vigilance department is inquiring into this case after the working of the commission was suspended following an order of the state government. A latest report said the Chief Minister Sukhvinder Singh Sukhoo has given strict instructions to the police department to inquire into this case deeply so that no one goes scot free due to their connections with higher-ups.
