Congress workers remembered Father of the Nation Mahatma Gandhi
On the death anniversary of the Father of the Nation, Mahatma Gandhi, party leaders and workers remembered him and paid their emotional tributes at the State Congress Headquarters, Rajiv Bhawan today.
During this, State Congress President and former MP Pratibha Singh said that everyone needs to move forward with the ideals and ideology of Bapu. She said that Mahatma Gandhi, the priest of non-violence, has made a huge contribution to the independence of the country, so this country can never forget him. She said that Congress considered the ideals of Bapu as its main path and till date Congress is following the same path. She said that everyone will have to come forward with unity to maintain the unity and integrity of the country. She said that our true tribute to Bapu will be that we always move forward by following the path shown by him.
After paying his tribute to Mahatma Gandhi, Vidhan Sabha Speaker Kuldeep Singh Pathania said that the grateful nation will always remain indebted to Bapu. He said that today there is a great need to promote his thoughts and ideals in the country, because somewhere we are straying from the path of truth and non-violence. He said that Gandhi’s ideology is Congress and we have to strengthen it further.
Education Minister Rohit Thakur, after paying his tributes, said that there is a great need to propagate Mahatma Gandhi’s ideology and his ideals among the youth so that the future of the country can be secured.

Stan, Yogesh Thakur, Rudransh, Bansh, Sagar Klanta, Satpal, Ved Prakash, Shubham Verma, Jeetram Pawar, Radha Mehta, Lokeshwari Devi, Uma Mudliyar, Babli Salhotra, Krishna Jaryal, Satya Verma and many other party workers paid tribute to the photograph of Mahatma Gandhi. Two minutes of silence was observed in his honour and Gandhi bhajans were also sung.
