Congress will hold nationwide protests on 18 December against the anti-people policies of the Central Government
On the call of All India Congress Committee, Congress will hold nationwide protests on 18 December 2024 against the anti-people policies of the Central Government, serious allegations of corruption against Adani in the US court, protection to capitalists and increasing violence in Manipur.
The state Congress will stage a sit-in protest outside the Raj Bhavan under the leadership of state Congress president and former MP Pratibha Singh. All India Congress Committee secretary and co-in-charge of state affairs Chetan Chauhan and Vidit Chaudhary will also specially participate in this sit-in protest.

All the Congress councillors of the Congress-ruled Municipal Corporation, all the office bearers of leading organizations and departments have been asked to gather near Rahat Hotel in Chhota Shimla at 11 am on 18 December 2024. After this, all the party people will protest against the BJP-led NDA government at the Center in front of the Raj Bhavan.
