Congress seeks immediate relief for natural disaster

Congress President Pratibha Singh has demanded from the government that the people affected by any disaster should be helped immediately by making disaster management effective in the state. In a press statement issued today she  has also  sought to restore immediately road so that people do not face any problem.

 Expressing concern over the poor condition of the roads in the state, Pratibha Singh said that since apple season is about to start in the state, the big vehicles carrying goods have to face difficulties.  This can adversely affect the transportation of apples.

 Pratibha Singh has asked the government to immediately make proper arrangements for cartons and trays for apple orchards.  Proper arrangements should be made for transport and carton boxes.

 Pratibha Singh has said that after assessing the damage caused to the farmers and the orchards and livestock farmers due to floods and rains, immediate relief should also be provided to the affected people.
