Congress remembered former late CM Virbhadra Singh on his fourth death anniversary
During this time, State Congress President and former MP Pratibha Singh told the media that Virbhadra Singh has a huge contribution in the creation of modern Himachal Pradesh. She said that Virbhadra Singh has a huge contribution in important works like construction of roads in the state, expansion of health services, basic facilities in rural areas, health, education, drinking water. She said that Virbhadra Singh was such a public leader who loved the people of the state and the culture of the state very much. He was always ready to remove the pain and suffering of the people day and night. This is the reason that now when it has been four years since he left us, even today people become teary-eyed remembering his works. She said that we all have to move forward by following the path shown by him, strengthening the development of the state and mutual brotherhood. Death is inevitable, everyone has to leave this world one day or the other, but those who are remembered even after their death are great personalities. Virbhadra Singh was one such great personality who is our ideal and will always remain so.
Pratibha Singh expressed her gratitude to the party leaders, workers and the people of the state for their immense love and respect for Virbhadra Singh and said that the doors of Holy Lodge are always open for public service and will always remain open.

Pratibha Singh has said that the disaster caused by heavy rains, cloudburst and floods in the state is very painful. She said that the maximum damage has been done in Seraj and Karsog areas of Mandi district and the state government is carrying out relief work on war footing. She said that the disaster is so serious that movable and immovable property worth lakhs of crores has been damaged and many human lives have also been lost. She said that it is very important to search for the missing people in this disaster and they are being searched. She said that she has just visited Karsog and soon she will also visit Seraj area. She said that whatever relief material the affected families need on an immediate basis is being made available to them. She said that all possible help will be provided to the affected families.
