Congress is scattering cards in Himachal due to leadership working style

Six disqualified Congress party MLAs and three independent MLAs issued a joint statement today saying that due to the working style of Chief Minister Sukhwinder Singh Sukhu, the Congress in the state is now falling apart like a pack of cards and is heading towards the abyss. The hard-working workers of Congress are in a state of frustration and disappointment and the situation has become such that sensing the mood of the public and the workers, senior leaders are refusing to contest elections.

After joining the BJP in New Delhi today, these leaders Rajendra Rana, Sudhir Sharma, Inder Dutt Lakhanpal, Ravi Thakur, Devendra Bhutto Chaitanya Sharma, Hoshiar Singh, Ashish Sharma, and K. l. Thakur issued a joint statement from Delhi saying that a strong Congress government was formed in the state with the support of 40 MLAs and three independents, but the dictatorial attitude of Chief Minister Sukhwinder Singh Sukhu and his attempt to humiliate the elected MLAs by giving preference to friends. It is the policy that has created the current situation. The leaders said that Congress state president and Mandi MP Pratibha Singh has refused to contest the elections saying that Congress workers are being ignored and her statement proves that Congress is on the verge of disintegration in the state. These leaders said that Pratibha Singh has revealed the truth that there is resentment in the organization and the party workers are not active.

These leaders said that due to the functioning of the Chief Minister, the government has lost the majority in the state. Their attitude of ignoring the party’s hardworking workers, discriminating against our constituency, and continuously humiliating us has forced us to take this step. These leaders said that instead of blaming others, the Chief Minister should look within himself and see that only his ego and dictatorial attitude are responsible for the current situation.

They said that truth cannot be suppressed and the dark deeds done by his friends will also soon come to light. These leaders sarcastically said that the system cannot be changed by distributing money to friends and putting the self-respect of the state at stake. These leaders said that just as the Congress party is gasping in the country today and big Congress leaders are running away from the election field, similarly the Sukhu government is also on a ventilator.
