Congress is fully prepared for the Lok Sabha elections: Pratibha

State Congress President and MP Pratibha Singh has said that Congress is fully prepared for the Lok Sabha elections. She has said that the Bharat Jodo Nyaya Yatra of former All India Congress Committee President Rahul Gandhi will start from Manipur from January 14 and will conclude in Mumbai on March 20. She said that this visit of Rahul Gandhi will prove to be a milestone like the Bharat Jodo Yatra in the past.

Today, in an informal conversation with journalists at Rajiv Bhawan, the Congress headquarters, Pratibha Singh said that the state Congress will hoist the flag of victory in the Lok Sabha elections this time. He said that Congress is in a very strong position in the state.

She said that on January 16, an important meeting was called at Rajiv Bhawan, Shimla of all the district and block Congress presidents and state heads of leading organizations regarding the preparations for the Lok Sabha elections. Chief Minister Thakur Sukhwinder Singh Sukhu, all ministers of the state government, and Congress MLAs have been called to the meeting. Apart from this, those party leaders who had contested the assembly elections in 2022 have also been called. Preparations for the Lok Sabha elections will be discussed in detail in the meeting.

Pratibha Singh, in response to a question about going to the Ram Mandir Pratistha in Ayodhya, said that Lord Shri Ram belongs to all those who believe in Sanatan Dharma. She said that no politics should be done on this. She said that Himachal Pradesh is the land of Gods and Goddesses and we all worship Gods and Goddesses. She said that former Chief Minister Late Virbhadra Singh renovated thousands of temples of Gods and Goddesses in the state. She said that her family has received the invitation for Pran Pratistha in Ayodhya, which she considers her good fortune.
