Congress high command directed Himachal state party leadership to brace up for the upcoming Lok Sabha Election

 The Congress high command directed the Congress state leadership of Himachal Pradesh to brace up for the upcoming Lok Election.

 In the Strategy Committee meeting held on Thursday in Delhi, Rahul Gandhi said that a list of possible candidates for the party should be prepared so that the party can start campaigning on the ground in time as soon as the Lok Sabha elections are declared.

In the meeting held under the chairmanship of Congress National President Mallikarjun Kharge and Rahul Gandhi, all the leaders gave their mantra for ensuring victory in all four Lok Sabha seats in the elections. 

Party leaders asked the state leadership to focus on the step-motherly treatment of non-BJP ruled states especially Himachal Pradesh’s issue of neglect of Himachal during the natural disaster in the Lok Sabha elections.

The party also asked the party leaders to shortlist the possible winnable candidates for all four Lok Sabha seats in Himachal Pradesh.

Congress will itself contest elections on all four seats Chief Minister Sukhwinder Sukhu, in response to a question regarding the INDIA alliance, said that Congress is good on all four seats and will contest elections on all seats. CM Sukhu said that the disaster in Himachal has caused the worst devastation of the century. But we could not get financial help from the Centre. The Center treated the state step-motherly. He said that Congress will go among the people in the upcoming Lok Sabha elections on issues like inflation, unemployment, and Agniveer recruitment. He said that the Congress party will win all four seats in the state.

Center gave step-motherly treatment to Himachal: Agnihotri Deputy CM Mukesh Agnihotri said that the Center reduced the loan limit of Himachal, stopped the GST reimbursement amount, put a cap on foreign funding projects, cut the budget of the Central schemes. Despite such a big tragedy in the state, the Center did not help Himachal, and the state suffered a loss of Rs 12 thousand crores due to the disaster. Congress party will raise all these issues among the public in the elections.

State Congress President Pratibha Singh said that the government and the organization will contest the elections together. He said that the suggestions of all the leaders will strengthen the party. Now everyone has to go to the field and work.

State Congress in-charge Rajiv Shukla said that the public welfare work of the Himachal government will reach every person. He said that the party will fight the elections together with full strength.

If sources are to be believed, in today’s meeting there was also discussion regarding the early allocation of departments to the two newly appointed ministers and their posting in boards and corporations. The party’s high command has asked to make appointments before the Lok Sabha elections.

Chief Minister Sukhwinder Sukhu, Deputy CM Mukesh Agnihotri, Congress State President Pratibha Singh along with cabinet ministers, CPS, Rajendra Rana, Sudhir, party officials, and former state presidents were present in the Strategy Committee meeting held in Delhi. Apart from Mallikarjun Kharge and Rahul Gandhi, Rajiv Shukla, and National General Secretary KC Venugopal were also present on behalf of the high command.
